How the double chin lipolysis treatment works?
Prior to starting up the double chin treatment, our expert dermatologist will first go through the patient’s medical history and health profile.
All the important points regarding the treatment will be explained to the patient.
Next step is to map the double chin area which needs to be treated with the various points where the injections will be administered at a 1 cm gap. The number of injections is decided based on the amount of fat you have under the chin and your medical profile.
This treatment needs applying anaesthesia. Once it is administered, our dermatologist will one by one inject the solution in the planned points of your double chin.
What to expect during and after the treatment?
It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to complete the treatment.
Treatments can be repeated to a maximum of 2 to 3 times upto a maximum of 6 sessions.
There has to be a one month gap between each session.
The fat under the skin should disappear over the course of 4 to 6 weeks and the most common side effects are swelling, numbness, pain and redness to uncommon side effects of bruising, trouble swallowing etc.
The side effects may last for few hours/days or couple of weeks depending on the patients medical profile and the treat protocol.
